Free Uber Rides for St. Patrick’s Day In Las Cruces-Area

LAS CRUCES – District Attorney Mark D’Antonio announced Thursday that the Third Judicial District Attorney’s Office has again partnered with Uber to encourage Las Cruces residents to plan ahead this St. Patrick’s Day.

As part of the ongoing partnership, Uber will offer new users a $15 credit and existing users a chance to win $100 in free transportation. The $15 discount is enough to cover the majority of rides requested in the Las Cruces area.

“If you plan on drinking and driving, don’t plan on the luck of the Irish to keep you from getting pulled over. Take an Uber,” D’Antonio said.

New users can access the free ride credit by downloading the Uber app and entering the promo code CrucesStPat. Meanwhile, existing users can qualify to win $100 in free transportation by entering the promo code JusticeMatters.

Uber will also donate $5 to the Shattered Lives campaign for each new user who signs up using the promo code and takes their first trip.

For more information about the Shattered Lives program, contact Antonia Hernandez at 575-647-2154.
